Make your guitar play the way it was meant to
What I love about guitars is that they are organic in their making, and can transfer vibrations to our hands and bodies, turning them into feelings and emotions when we play. That is why, when we sometimes pick up a particular instrument and start strumming, we feel inspired or empowered, and it just makes us feel good.
It also happens that we sometimes pick up a guitar, start playing, and we find it uninspiring, hard to play or difficult to get the right notes out to the point that it becomes uncomfortable and we just put it down.
A lot of factors can contribute in turning an otherwise good guitar into an almost unplayable and out of tune instrument. Age, temperature and humidity changes, transportation, incorrect setup and general use are all contributing factors.
Us guitarists are also very different from one another, and require different things from our chosen instrument.
Depending on our playing style, string action and gauge, tone, resonance, loudness, response and sustain are all good examples of things that we desperately try to get from our instrument in order to get "in the zone" when we play it.
I believe that every guitar, even the cheapest on the market, can be made to play good by setting it up correctly to our own requirements and preferences.
If you wish to make your guitar play the best it can, improving your playing and enjoyment, please get in touch to discuss your requirements and options, and book an appointment for a free inspection and evaluation.
